Schedule meetings

A meeting page is a link where someone picks a time. TextWork checks the connected calendars for free time and adds the booking to them.

Connect a calendar

Open Company Settings, then Integrations, and open Calendar.

1. Under Generate connect link for, choose the teammate whose calendar should be used.
2. Choose Generate Link and send them that link.
3. They connect Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, or Apple Calendar.

They show up under Connected Calendars. Free and busy time is read from those calendars. A booking is written onto all of them.

Create a meeting page

Open Company Settings, then Pages, then New Page, and choose Booking page. The editor is titled Create meeting page. The preview is what a guest sees.

1. Write a title. A description is optional. A bracketed field, such as [name], fills in from the report that sends the link.
2. Set the meeting length, the time zone, the start and end of the day, how many days ahead a guest can book, and how much notice you need. Same-day bookings is the shortest notice. Add a buffer if you want time between meetings.
3. Turn on the days you take meetings.
4. Under Report on booking, pick a report template if each booking should file a report. None means no report is filed.
5. Leave Published checked. Uncheck it to keep the page as a draft. A draft link will not take bookings.
6. Choose Create meeting page.

The public link is on the editor after you save. Open the page again from Pages to change it. Choose Save changes.

Send the link in a text

Hover a person on the dashboard and choose the clock, Schedule a message.

Under Insert, choose Meeting link and pick the page. The message includes [booking_link]. When the text goes out, that becomes their link.

The same Meeting link control is on a Send message action, so the link can go out when a report is completed. See Get notifications.
